About the LTT - Click for Detailed Program

Day 1: Morning: Students will attend the first lesson at the host school, participate in the welcome ceremony, and meet partner schools from Romania, Türkiye, and Spain. Teachers will split into two groups: one will focus on planning key project tasks, timelines, and collaborative tools, while the other will discuss educational strategies and adapting activities to each school’s context. Afternoon: Students will learn about the importance of coastal ecosystems (dunes, beaches, rocky shorelines) and their vulnerability to climate change. They will participate in a coastal clean-up, documenting the event through photography or short videos and creating a digital story on coastal protection.

Day 2: Morning: Students will use mobile applications to identify and document plant species along the coast, enhancing their digital literacy while engaging with nature. Afternoon: They will visit the Aleppo Pine Forest, using mobile apps to catalog plant species. Students will create a digital archive, promoting awareness of local biodiversity and the role of technology in conservation, and reflect on the importance of forest ecosystem protection.

Day 3: Morning: Students will learn the goals of digital storytelling and how to create impactful environmental narratives using digital tools. Afternoon: Interactive sessions will focus on team coordination, student engagement, and multicultural communication. Through roleplaying and group activities, students will simulate real project challenges.

Day 4: Morning: Teachers will develop actionable plans for integrating sustainability practices into schools and communities. Afternoon: Students will create a 3-5 minute documentary on the impact of plastic waste in the sea, highlighting its effects on marine ecosystems and solutions for reducing plastic pollution Closing and Certificate ceremony
